It's really satisfying to be out in the cold and to have warm feet. I am always looking for shearling shoes that are not gross and bulky and embarrassingly Ugg-like. I have not found them yet. I can't understand why shoemakers don't totally bomb the UGG monopoly. I feel like this is my crazy secret shoe confession. Why aren't there more shearling booties? Am I the only one asking the universe for this?

 

Why are these so expensive? I feel like I need to sleep on this. Am I just not thinking straight? These are like little Spanish botíns. Warm little boots. That just sounds nice doesn't it?

I demand satisfaction. The few times they've shown themselves they've been in tranny sizes. My correctly sized shut-'em-down proper de Havilland knock-offs are a possible reality? This LL Bean convertible jacket/vest has been haunting my dreams. It's kind of crunchy but in a late 70s slasher film in the woods kind of way. I now have a place for my Grissom patch, on the left shoulder of my new jacket. I can now subtly tell the world how much I love Gus Grissom.  It probably requires me buying a backpack or bike bag. I like these from Urban Outfitters on the men's side.
